Nathan's Famous Brooklyn is an iconic hot dog restaurant situated on Surf Avenue, just a stone's throw from the bustling boardwalk of Coney Island. Renowned for its flavorful hot dogs, this eatery stands out not only for its menu but also for the vibrant atmosphere it offers. The general sentiment among patrons echoes excitement and satisfaction, with many like Airen Bijou enjoying the nostalgic experience of indulging in loaded fries and hot dogs while soaking in the seaside ambiance.
Customer experiences indicate that Nathan's is not just about the food but also about the overall visit. Joe G highlights the quick service, friendly staff, and the ample outdoor seating, making it an ideal spot for casual dining. Filippo Armellino calls it the best hot dog in the world, emphasizing the smooth service and delicious offerings, such as chili and corn dogs, which seem to live up to the brand's legendary status. However, some guests have mentioned drawbacks like outdoor seating limitations and the absence of air conditioning, which could challenge comfort during hot days.

Totally everything you expect and a little more. Fast, easy to order. It's totally a hotdog. I've always walked by and promised myself that.... next time I'll get that. And today was the day. I planned ahead, thought out what I wanted and I went with hella loaded fries and a plain dog, order of mini corn dogs to share with my pup. Exactly what I wanted, no more, no less. But felt very fun having that for dinner on the boardwalk.

First time here arrived at opening time on a Sunday 10 AM. Service was friendly and fast, 7 minutes from order time to getting food and it was hot! Pros: BATHROOMS large ( by out door seating) Lots of ordering stations Lots of outdoor seating Food is fast Prices reasonable Food taster better then expected. Huge menu Cons: Only outdoor seating. Highly recommend, for everyone who was casual tasty food.

For me the best hotdog in the world. We come back after many years. During winter it’s not so crowded like in summer, and so we had no long line to wait for our food. It was smooth and fast. We hate the classic hotdog, the one with chili, corn dogs and the french fries with cheddar and bacon. Everything was delicious and we digested all very well. Great food! It definitely worth the trip to Coney Island.

I'm pretty thrilled to be adding Nathan's Famous Hot Dogs in Coney Island to my review list. The Hot Dogs were great and had some good snap to them. The chili dog was especially good and the Saurkraut dog did not disappoint. The "regular" size drink cost 4.99 which was a bit expensive and the hot dogs were 6 to 7 each. I would say it was a fair price to pay for a novelty experience.

Well, what can I say... the hot dog is amazing, really delicious. It’s a shame about the slow service and the fact that you have to eat in the heat with no air conditioning.

I finally made it to this iconic spot, which has been around since 1916! The taste? Just as good as expected. The hot dogs were classic, but the shake was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was fantastic—there’s something special about enjoying a meal in a place with such a long history. It felt amazing to take in the nostalgia while eating. Definitely a must-visit if you're in Coney Island!

Whatever y’all are paying Shaquana, it’s not enough!! She has GREAT customer service skills, GREAT personality AND helped us get what we needed. We got a regular dog, a chili cheese bacon dog and some regular fries. All of it tasted AMAZING. We should’ve listened to her and gotten the large fries!

An absolute classic. Nathan’s at Coney Island is one of those spots you just have to experience at least once. The hot dogs are simple but hit the spot, juicy with that perfect snap, and the crinkle fries are exactly what you want on the side. Yes, it gets crowded, but the line moves fast and the energy around the place is part of the charm. There’s something about grabbing a Nathan’s dog and walking the boardwalk that feels like pure New York. Legendary for a reason and I’ll definitely be back for another round.
